Current property market 'suits investors'

Now is a good time to buy for those considering investing in
property, it has been stated.
The Property Investors Market has advised buy-to-let landlords in
particular that the current climate means bargains can be
had.
But founder of the website Simon Zutshi urged investors to make
sure they are buying "well below market value" in order to maximise
their earning potential.
He explained that prices are likely to rise in the future, but that
buyers will benefit by acting as if they will not.
"It's possible to get a good deal at the moment, but it absolutely
must be for cash flow. You should not be buying anything you have
to subsidise," said Mr Zutshi.
By taking advantage of sellers' need to offload property, he noted,
buyers with a long-term view will be protected against any further
price falls.
The advice follows figures from Halifax that showed a slight
increase in house prices last month, with a rise of 1.9 per cent
still leaving values more than 17 per cent below the level of one
year ago.
